Cham Wings Airlines runs first direct flight to Karachi
Cham Wings Airlines on Wednesday commenced its flight operation in Pakistan as the private Syrian airline performed its first flight from Damascus International Airport to Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
According to the details, Cham Wings Airbus A320 aircraft registration YK-BAB performed the airline’s inaugural Damascus to Karachi flight 6Q661 as a part of the company’s plan to expand its international flights.
The first flight of Cham Wings Airlines landed at Karachi airport at 2:25 pm from Damascus today with more than 150 passengers aboard.
Baaghi TV has learnt that the officials of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) will give a water cannon salute upon arrival of the foreign private airline. The Damascus-based air carrier, Cham Wings Airlines, will also depart for Damascus again after carrying the passengers today.
According to the company’s Director of Development and Public Relations, Osama Satea, this flight comes as a part of the company’s plan to expand its international flights to become the 14th destination for its planes.

Satea underlined the importance of opening a direct line between Damascus and Pakistan to meet the needs of passengers, in addition to activating the trade and air transport movement in general between the two countries. Furthermore, he added that the company is working to provide the best services at encouraging prices in coincides with expanding its network of overseas stations.
Sources reveal that Cham Air Wings will operate three weekly flights between Damascus and Karachi from February 2022, which will become a daily service by 2022 summer.
