Rain has stopped the Afghanistan vs Australia game at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The rain has picked pace and the ground is under covers at the moment. The players have walked to their respective dugouts.

Before this, Travis Head scored a quickfire fifty as Australia reached 109/1 in 12.5 overs in their chase of 274 against Afghanistan at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Rashid Khan had dropped the catch of Head when the batter was at the score of 6. Now, the southpaw is wreaking havoc with his attacking batting.

Earlier, Sediqullah Atal (85) and Azmatullah Omarzai (67) scored fighting fifties as the side posted 273 all-out in 50 overs after opting to bat first. Ben Dwarshuis picked three wickets for 47 runs while Spencer Johnson and Adam Zampa also accounted for two wickets each.
