Chance of rain in different parts of the country

Baaghi TV: The Meteorological Department has forecast rain with strong winds and thundershowers in Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Southeast Sindh and Kashmir, including the federal capital.

Chance of thundershowers in Lahore, Sialkot, Gujarat, Gujranwala and Narowal today. Rain with thundershowers is expected at some places in Layyah, Bhakkar and DG Khan.

According to the meteorological department, Karachi, Badin, Tharparkar, Nagarparkar, Umerkot, Thatta, Shaheed Benazirabad and Sukkur will receive showers of rain. Chance of rain with strong winds and thundershowers in Mirpur Khas, Sanghar and Mithi.

Rain with strong winds is expected in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Dir, Mansehra, Swat, Buner, Mardan, Kohat, Karam, Bannu, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Barkhan and surrounding areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure system coming from the Bay of Bengal is present inside Sindh.

There has been intermittent drizzle in different parts of Karachi last night. The weather turned pleasant with drizzle at Saddar, II Chandragar Road, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Clifton and Malir.

There was also drizzle in Super Highway, Surjani, Sohrab Goth, Federal B Area, Khudadad Colony and Tariq Road.

The monsoon system is unlikely to enter Karachi. The low pressure system has entered Mithi through Thatta Badin and Mirpurkhas.

Heavy rains are continuing in Sindh while light drizzle is likely to continue intermittently in Karachi.

The weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours. Thunderstorms lashed Takht Bai, Balakot, Dir, DI Khan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
