According to reports of Baaghi TV, Justice Farooq Haider, a member of the bench of the Lahore High Court, apologized for the hearing. At the last hearing, the President of the Lahore High Court Bar, on behalf of Justice Farooq Haider, raised an objection to the hearing of the case. The two-member bench comprised of Justice Sardar Ahmed Naeem and Justice Farooq Haider.

At the last hearing, President Lahore High Court Bar Tahir Nasrullah Warraich had objected to the hearing of the Chaudhry brothers’ petition, on behalf of the bench member Justice Farooq Haider, and said that Justice Farooq Haider continued to appear in several cases of the Chaudhry brothers. Haider did not hold a hearing after which Justice Farooq Haider apologized for hearing the case and said that he could no longer appear for the hearings of the case.

The bench headed by Justice Sardar Ahmed Naeem sent a file to the Chief Justice to form a new bench, after which a new bench was constituted. Justice Shahbaz Rizvi and Justice Asjad Javed will reportedly hear the petition.

It should be noted, that in the petition filed in the Lahore High Court, the PML-Q leaders, the Chaudhry Brothers, took the position that NAB is a political engineering body. Reportedly, on the role of NAB and their wrong approach to investigation, the courts have also given verdicts. Chaudhry brothers in their petition against NAB, claim that the Chairman has ordered a re-investigation into the 19-year-old case against them. They added that NAB had conducted a full investigation of assets in excess of income 19 years ago but had failed.
