Children in prisons may have a chance at medical school?
Even children and juveniles serving time in jails will now be able to get admission and education in Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, and (MBBS).
Federal Minister for Health Abdul Qadir Patel said that from the year 2023, children incarcerated in all jails across Pakistan will be given the opportunity of admission and education in Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, and MBBS.
Abdul Qadir Patel said that any child who wants to become a doctor in jail will be able to do so.
Additionally, instructions have been issued to the Pakistan Medical Commission regarding the decision.
The Federal Minister of Health has stated that the goal of this initiative is to provide a prominent role in society for all of the children who have been jailed.
