Lahore, 25th November: With the rising cases of coronavirus during the second wave in the country, Punjab government recommends new safety precautions to be taken.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, after the closure of educational institutes across Pakistan, the Punjab government recommends keeping children safe inside their homes.

The government of Punjab suggests banning children from entering shopping malls, markets and parks. If the kids are refrained from going to schools then they should not be exposed to other social platforms too.

Punjab’s Education Minister, Dr Murad Raas, has recommended a ban on the entry of children in shopping malls, supermarkets, and parks in the province.

Talking to a news channel, Murad Raas said, “I was not in favour of closing the school as it would jeopardize the education of the children but now as it has been decided to close the schools keeping in view the alarming situation. This decision will now be implemented at all costs.”

These remarks came after the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) decided to close educational institutes to stem the resurgence of coronavirus.

It is noteworthy to say that there is an alarming increase in the number of coronavirus cases, but the required ban should not only be applicable to children. Elders need to be more cautious and try to remain indoors as much as possible!
