China launched its first atomic fueled “artificial sun” on Friday.

The China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) said the HL-2M Tokamak ‘fake sun’ utilizes a ‘strong attractive field to combine sweltering plasma and can arrive at temperatures of more than 150 million degrees Celsius’, Xinhua news office detailed.

The development is named as gigantic progression of China’s atomic exploration capacities. It will utilize hydrogen and deuterium gases as powers. The monster gadget is situated in Chengdu in southwestern Sichuan territory.
