BEIJING: Tensions between China and the United States have risen, with China reacting to an order to close the US consulate in Houston. China has ordered the closure of the US consulate in Chengdu. According to details, China has revoked the license of the US Consulate in Chengdu, foreign media say that the US Consulate in Chengdu was built in 1985 where 200 people work. Two days earlier, the United States had ordered the closure of the Chinese consulate in Houston, Texas.
