China to screen Pakistani film

Beijing (7th Jan, 2020): Pakistani film produced by local media group, HUM TV, to be screened in China.

According to reports, the film titled, Parwaaz Hai Junoon, is set to hit theaters in China. The film produced by local media group HUM TV, is a patriotic film that pays tribute to the Pakistan Air Force and was released across Pakistan in 2018.

Parwaaz Hai Junoon, which is directed by Haseeb Hassan and written by Farhat Ishtiaq, is an “aerial combat-war romantic film” according to Wikipedia. With a star cast featuring: Hamza Ali Abbasi (Waar, Alif), Ahad Raza Mir (Aangan, Yaqeen ka Safar), Hania Amir (Janaan, Na Maloom Afraad 2), Kubra Khan (Alif Allah Aur Insaan, Alif), Marina Khan (Tanhaayian), Shamoon Abbassi (Waar, Phir Wohi Muhabbat), and others is one of the highest grossing Pakistani films.

According to details, the film will be the first Pakistani movie to be screened in China after a gap of almost forty years. Sources have confirmed that it will be presented in February or March.
