China will remain committed to its iron-clad friendship with Pakistan and will not allow any violation of Pakistan’s right to defend its territorial integrity and sovereignty including the peaceful use of water.
In an interview with an Indian news channel, Chinese senior analyst Professor Victor Gao emphasized peaceful ways to allocate waters between the countries sharing the regional rivers.
Referring to India’s water aggression against Pakistan, Professor Gao warned that do not do unto others what you do not want others to do unto you.
He detailed that India is in the midstream in the region and China in the upper stream, thus it is not appropriate for India to meddle with the shared waters.
