Chinese firm to establish textile parks in Pakistan

China National Textile and Apparel Council and Pakistan’s Board of Investment have signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the China Textile Conference in Keqiao, Shaoxing.

Addressing on the occasion, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi said textile parks would be established in Pakistan under this MoU. He said these textile parks would enhance bilateral trade, foster technology transfer, and enhance capacity.

Khalil Hashmi said the textile sector is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy and major contributor to its exports.
