Churails: The witches who wouldn’t burn for now

Lahore, 9th October: Web series ‘Churails’ is back in Pakistan after being banned for a couple of days. According to the report of Baaghi TV, ‘Churails’ on India ZEE5, that got banned to be streamed for the Pakistani audience is back on track. The series has been creating vibes since its release in August. The cast and the plot are highly appreciated by the audiences especially across the border. Web series Churails suffers a hitch ‘Churails’ deals with the most sensitive social issues but in a bold manner, which is not taken well by the Pakistani audience. A few days ago, a monologue delivered by the senior actress Hina Khawaja Bayat in one of the scenes from the drama got into a controversy which led to the social media uproar, as a result of which the series was taken down in Pakistan. Just recently, Asim Abbasi the director of the series has announced that the witches are back on track.
