Although smoking is prohibited in the Parliament House, packets of cigarettes with the monogram of the Senate of Pakistan were distributed among the senators on the premises of the Senate of Pakistan.

It is noteworthy that the Chairman Senate and Deputy Chairman Senate do not smoke, but Senator Dilawar Khan also gave cigarette gifts to the Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate. Most of the senators also expressed anger over the distribution of cigarette packets with the monogram of the senate.

Many members questioned whether it was legal to introduce a brand of cigarette in the name of the Senate. They said that the monogram of the Senate of Pakistan could not be allowed to be printed on cigarettes. It should be noted that Dilawar Khan has a cigarette factory in Mardan. But they refrained from giving their opinion in this regard.
