Lahore, 30th June: Citizens in Islamabad protest over shortage of Pfizer vaccine.

Baaghi TV reports that overseas Pakistanis have protested in the federal capital Islamabad over the shortage of Pfizer vaccines.

According to details, protesters blocked the road outside F-9 Park. Management of the vaccination Center informed that Pfizer doses are low and the rush is high.

The management said that the demand for Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines is high. Protesters say that their visas are about to expire and that they have to go back abroad.

They are protesting that they have come from far and wide to get vaccinated but the vaccines are not being given. Protesters pelted stones at the center and blocked the road.

District Health Officer Zaeem Zia said that the rush at the vaccination center suddenly increased due to people coming from other cities. Under COVID-19 SOPs, not everyone can be allowed in at once. Hence, the main entrance to F-9 Park was closed.
