Citizens prohibited to go out after 8 pm, strict lockdown imposed in Sindh

Lahore, 24th May: Citizens in Karachi are now prohibited to go out after 8 pm after a strict lockdown has been imposed in the Quaid-e-Azam city.
Karachi Police Chief Imran Yaqub Mahnas has issued an order regarding the severity of lockdown in Quaid-e-Azam city.
Keeping in mind the increasing number of coronavirus cases in Sindh, the public has been instructed to stay indoors.
According to details, Additional IG Karachi has ordered strict implementation of lockdown and said that violation of SOPs will not be tolerated.
He added that points will be set up on major highways of the city and unnecessary exits will be stopped at certain points.
He pointed out that people should not go out unnecessarily after 8 o’clock.
Imran Yaqub said that the police personnel should be polite to the people, the people should also cooperate fully with the police.
Furthermore, action will be taken against the shops and markets which open after 6 pm.
According to reports, the Sindh Chief Minister has also issued a new order in this regard which will be applied from tomorrow. The order said citizens would not be allowed to move around unnecessarily after 8 pm.

CM Sindh House posted on Twitter the recent announcement made by the provincial government. It said, “From tomorrow, after 8 pm, people will not be allowed to roam the city unnecessarily. If someone has to leave for the hospital or any necessary work, he should be allowed only.”
