February 9,2021: Mardan police continue the crackdown against criminal elements.
Successful operations of City Circle Police, lead to apprehension of 07 drug dealers including two accused of bandit gang arrested. Stolen goods and drugs were recovered. In view of special orders of DPO Mardan Dr. Zahidullah against criminal and drug dealer elements, Hoti police station under the supervision of DSP City Circle Inam Jan Khan, during a successful operation led by SHO Dawood Khan, two members of a gang who snatched mobile phones at gun-point from citizens were arrested.
After arresting Jawad and Farman resident Parhoti, the accused confessed to the crime during interrogation and the police recovered the snatched mobile phones and the weapons used in the incident and also the motorcycle.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against Fakhruzzaman Hoti, an accused involved in drug trafficking, after more than two kilograms of cannabis was recovered from his possession. Similarly, City Police under the leadership of SHO Muqaddam Khan arrested 06 drug dealers Maghfoor Shah, Uzair, Osama, Aqeel Gul, Waqas and Saddam during a crackdown on drug dealers and recovered a total of more than 09 kg of hashish and 04 liters of liquor was recovered and cases were registered against the accused.
