CM Buzdar makes big announcement concerning fees in educational facilities

Chief Minister Punjab, Usman Buzdar reportedly announces big news pertaining to fees of academic facilities in the province. 

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the Punjab government has ordered all schools to get 20% less fees.

Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has said that complete and timely payment of salaries of all teachers and staff should be ensured, and that no schools would be allowed to sack their staff.

Taking to the social networking site, Twitter, Chief Minister Punjab Usman Bazdar said that the government has decided that all schools within Punjab should charge 20% less during the lockdown and on a monthly basis only.

During this time schools will be obliged to pay full and timely payment of salaries of all teachers and staff and no school will be allowed to exclude teachers or staff.

It is clear that the country is under lockdown due to the Coronavirus and holidays have been announced in educational institutions till May 31st. Chief Minister Punjab had said a week ago that private school owners would try to get monthly fees in half. A committee was constituted in this regard.

Summer holidays were announced in all public and private schools in Punjab province till the 31st of May. From June 1 to August 13, schools will be open from 7am to 11pm without assembly and break. After Independence Day, August 14, the timing of schools will be adjusted according to normal routine.

After Corona Lockdown, the school will be opened for one day only in the month of April and all students, including 10th class, will be given new books and holiday work. In addition, new admissions to all classes, including 9th and 6th grades, will be made on the same day. The remaining 6 papers of the 9th class are likely to start on 2nd of June, 2020. Chances are for the 10th Practical to begin on June 12th. Moreover, Intermediate exams are expected on June 22.

All students from nursery to seventh grade have passed. 8th results will be announced on March 31. First-month and third-year admissions are expected to extend a month. It should be noted, that at the National Security Committee meeting, it was decided that educational institutions across the country would be closed by April 5th, 2020.

Meanwhile, according to Baaghi TV’s reports, private school owners have sent bills to the houses of students despite the matter being heard in the Lahore High Court.
