Thursday, June 11th: A special meeting of the Apex Committee was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar in which concern was expressed over the increase in the number of Corona patients in Lahore.
The political and military leadership has decided to use all resources to stop the spread of Coronavirus. On the occasion, Corps Commander Lahore Lt. Gen. Majid Ehsan assured the Punjab government of all possible assistance.
An effective management policy will be formulated to curb the spread of Corona in Lahore city.It has been agreed to form a special working group consisting of experts. A separate model will be prepared for the city of Lahore on the recommendations of the working group. It will be presented for final approval at the Center meeting.
It was also decided to make coordination more effective in civil and military institutions. It was decided to ensure strict enforcement of the ban on masks in the province. In view of the possible danger of floods, it was also decided to take all precautionary measures ahead of time.
On this occasion, Usman Bazdar said that with the cooperation and support of the people, we will overcome every challenge.
The meeting appreciated the services of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar thanked the military leadership for their full cooperation in tackling the Corona epidemic.
