Lahore, 26th August: The Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has approved the construction of 10 new shelters in Lahore.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Punjab Chief Minister has approved the construction of 10 new shelters in Lahore.

Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed to identify the places for new shelters as soon as possible. Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that new shelters would be constructed in rented buildings and the scope of shelters would be extended to major cities in phases.

Rehabilitation centers will be set up for drug addicts and beggars. The previous governments never thought or did anything for the welfare of the helpless.

Sardar Usman Buzdar has also decided to open anchorages for the needy outside the shelters. He said the existing shelter system would be improved.

Chief Minister also directed to put up signboards on major highways in Lahore to identify shelters.
