Wednesday, July 1st: According to the report of Baaghi TV, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar took notice of the incidents of harassment of female students in private schools.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar sought a report from CCPO lahore on the incident. Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that incidents of harassment of female students were intolerable and action should be taken against those responsible in accordance with the law.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar further said that justice will be provided to the harassed students at any cost.
Earlier, a major step was taken to sexually harass female students at Lahore Grammar School by the staff. Following allegations of sexual harassment by Lahore Grammar School (LGS) students, the school authority launched an investigation. It has been decided to form a committee. A few female students of Lahore Grammar School have taken bold steps to bring the allegations of sexual harassment to the notice of the concerned authorities and have raised the issue of sexual harassment by male teachers and staff.
Many of the girls who reported that the so-called teachers used to call them to various places where they were harassed in the classroom, in the auditorium, in the canteen, and in other places. A case came to light in which the victim girl asked the school administration to take action against her teacher Sir Warraich who harassed her but in the end Miss Maira Rana (wife of Pakistani actor Omair Rana) and Mrs. Shakeel complained to her. So that the reputation of their school is not affected.
Following a wide-ranging and detailed testimony from a former senior schoolgirl following these allegations, the school administration has finally decided to look into the matter.
