Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has ordered to complete necessary security arrangements in view of possible floods in monsoon season.
Monsoon season is going on all over Pakistan including Punjab, CM punjab also became active in this regard. He directed the Secretary Irrigation to take all necessary steps under the approved plan to deal with possible floods.
Prior security arrangements and other necessary arrangements under SOPs should be finalized immediately. The Irrigation Department should make arrangements according to the flood plan in a comprehensive manner and ensure the implementation of SOPs in all cases by providing equipment, machinery and human resources.
Effective measures should be taken to prevent loss of life and property in flood prone areas, I will also visit different areas to review flood arrangements.
