Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited the frontlines to commemorate Eid-ul-Fitr and offered Eid prayers with the officers and troops posted there. On the occasion, COAS General Munir appreciated the soldiers for their high morale.
According to DG ISPR, the Army Chief visited the frontlines on the Pak-Afghan border where he met with the officers and soldiers, offering Eid prayers and celebrating with them. General Syed Asim Munir while speaking on the occasion said that the Pakistan Army is actively working to secure the borders, nothing is more sacred to them than protecting the borders. Those who have sacrificed their lives for the country should not be forgotten on Eid.

Paying tribute to the martyrs, General Munir expressed his best wishes for their families. He also appreciated the operational readiness and diligence of the troops.
On the one hand, the Pakistani public is celebrating the occasion with their loved ones and friends on the other hand, the soldiers and officers of the Pakistan Army are dedicating their efforts to the defense of the homeland as they remain assigned on duty to protect the country and its people. It is pertinent to note that brave and young soldiers of the Pakistan Army, are determined to defend every inch of their beloved country, as they stand between the country and its enemies on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have issued Eid messages and congratulated the Pakistani nation. The President of the country, Dr. Arif Alvi, said in his Eid message that the country needs to forgive to get out of the current situation. Today we are not ready to forgive people, we appeal to the nation not to let any group, religion, and political differences become a source of hatred.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in his message on Eid-ul-Fitr that the coalition government has been continuously trying to reduce the economic burden on the people, Allah Almighty will give us relief from these trials. Everyone has to reach the lost destination with constructive thinking, consistency, and continuous hard work for the improvement of Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also telephoned the service chiefs to congratulate them on Eid. PM Sharif telephoned Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and congratulated him on Eid. He also called Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Air Force Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sindhu, and Chief of Navy Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi and congratulated them on Eid-ul-Fitr.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the Governors of the four provinces on Eid-ul-Fitr, conveying Eid greetings and good wishes to Governor Balochistan Abdul Wali Kakar, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ghulam Ali, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri and Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman over the phone.
It should be noted that Eid prayers were held in all cities across Pakistan, and prayers were offered for the security of the country and the Muslim Ummah. Eid prayers were held in many big cities including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
