COAS General Qamar Bajwa visited Karachi: ISPR

Karachi (18th Oct, 2019): Chief Of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa Visited Karachi today.

As per details from press release by DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor, COAS addressed Garrison Officers and attended closing ceremony of PACES (Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System) Championship and witnessed training of mechanised formation.

Chief Of Army Staff talk to officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army about environmental challenges and response.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa while speaking to troops busy in training said, a good soldier always have good training abilities and physical fitness regardless of advancement of military technologies. He said a good soldier believe in himself rather believing in his gun. He praised Higher standards of training and physical fitness of soldiers and said we are proud of having very high standards of physical fitness and training exercises.

Chief Of Army Staff awarded prizes to winners of PEACE competition and young soldiers paces championship. Gujranwala Corps won 8th Army paces Championship and Engineer center team won the 7th young soldiers paces Championship.

Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz was with Army chief during his Karachi visit.
