Security forces fired tear gas shells and hurled grenades. Hundreds of protesters and police have been injured in the clashes so far. Unrest and protests have so far killed 13 people and injured more than 400. As a result, the country’s defense minister has apologized to the people.

The video went public last Wednesday, followed by three days of protests in all major cities across the country. Many more videos of police brutality are circulating on social networking sites, further fueling public outrage.
