He said, “Inshallah, the protesters will be satisfied today. We will control inflation and the economy will return to a steady positive rythm soon.”

Meanwhile on-ground, a series of round-ups has been launched to thwart the sit-in of federal government employees. Secretariat police have arrested seven leaders of the sit-in. The arrested persons include Chief Organizer All Pakistan Employees Grand Alliance Rehman Bajwa.

Employees say that they are not afraid of these arrests, they will take their rights. They said “all arrested employees should be released immediately and the rights of employees should be given to them. If the employee leaders are not released completely , then the government will be responsible for the situation. Until the release of the employees, all the provincial employees should protest and “sit-in” within their respective areas. Instead of giving the rights to the employees, they are being harassed by the government.”
