The Foreign Minister’s visit is expected to further strengthen and diversify Pakistan’s relations with the brotherly country of Egypt.

The visit comes in the context of meetings between Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on the sidelines of the OIC summit in Mecca in 1919 and the 14th session of the UN General Assembly in New York the same year. In these meetings, the two leaders agreed to further strengthen cooperation and increase the exchange of high-level delegations.
