MANANWALA, August 10 (Online Int’l): A constable of police station Bara Ghar Nankana Sahib has succumbed to injuries in the hospital. He was allegedly injured after being hit by an unknown over-speeding car at Nankana Road Mananwala.
The constable Muhammad Ajmal was ordered to move suspect Ghulam Mustafa to district jail Sheikhupura on his motorcycle instead of a police van. The said constable Ajmal was moving the suspect to jail when on the way an unknown car that was over-speeding, hit them, due to which both of them were severely injured. Muhammad Ajmal was moved to Lahore General Hospital, where he died.
The Mananwala police filed the case against an unknown car and driver, on the complaint of police station Bara Ghar Nankana Sahib and handed the dead body to the family members after fulfilling necessary formalities.
