Corona continues to spread in Pakistan, 55 more deaths reported
According to the report of Baaghi TV, the second wave of Corona virus continues in Pakistan. There is a steady increase in COVID-19 cases and mortality rate.
According to the NCOC, there have been 55 more deaths due to corona virus in Pakistan, bringing the total number of deaths to 10,772. In 24 hours, 2,123 new cases of Corona have been reported and the total number of affected people has reached 58,824.
According to the NCOC, 464,950 people have recovered in the country and the number of active patients is more than 33,000. The number of Corona cases in Islamabad is 39,462, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 62,018, in Sindh is 228,949, in Punjab is 146,525, in Balochistan is 18,467, in Azad Kashmir is 8,521 and in Gilgit-Baltistan is 4,882.
The highest number of deaths due to corona has occurred in Punjab where 4,323 people have lost their lives. Meanwhile, 3,730 people have lost their lives in Sindh, 1,748 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 447 in Islamabad, 101 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 188 in Balochistan and 235 in Azad Kashmir.
The first 50,000 cases came to light in 86 days and the last 50,000 cases in just 22 days. The first case of Corona in Pakistan came to light on February 26th, while the first death from Corona was reported on March 18th. According to the National Command and Operations Center, the rate of corona positive cases nationwide has risen to 5.92%. The corona positive case rate in Karachi is higher at 13.84%.
