Corona has affected YouTube community a lot: Mubasher Lucman

Lahore: Senior anchorperson and talkshow host, Mubasher Lucman, believes that Coronavirus has largely affected the YouTuber community.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, in a message on the social networking site Twitter, Lucman said that the coronavirus has not only affected print and electronic media but has also caused great damage to social media. He said that YouTube, which was the source of income for most of the people, is now also falling prey to the effects of the global pandemic.

He said that YouTube’s revenue has also dropped significantly. Lucman said that statistics show that this revenue is now “down to 45%”. Explaining the main reason for this, he said that due to Corona, there was a decrease in the advertisements from business circles which has affected the revenue of YouTube.

The anchorperson said, those who have been earning from YouTube for the past two months are facing the same situation, and unless the economic situation improves, there will be no increase in the income of those who earn from YouTube. He reiterated that, YouTube is among those hit hard in terms of finances by the lack of ads.
