Pakistan’s Railway Minister believes Coronavirus has helped to provide debt relief to Pakistan, otherwise the state had defaulted.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Federal Minister for Railways, Sheikh Rasheed, while talking in a private TV program, said that Pakistan had defaulted. Sheikh Rasheed said that we did not have the money to pay the loan installment, our work was just finished.
Sheikh Rasheed further said that IMF and World Bank gave evidence of improvement, Allah helps too, we did not have money to pay, a break has been found, Imran Khan has been helped by Allah, otherwise, Pakistan was defaulted. Our financing was over. The growth had to be negative.
Sheikh Rasheed’s statement has been strongly criticized on social media website Twitter.

Another user said that before that too many billions of dollars have been taken by Khan but do not understand where all the billions of dollars are going because Sheikh Rasheed is saying this is the kind of IMF he has borrowed. The installment is discounted, otherwise we didn’t even have the money to pay the installment.
