Lahore, 31st March: Yesterday PM, Imran Khan announced the establishment of a Corona Relief Fund and a Corona Tiger Force for the benefit of the citizens who are unable to earn their living during the period of lockdown.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the registration of the Corona Relief Fund is to start from today, so that help and food can be transported to the people as soon as possible.
Many citizens started downloading the Citizen Portal app from this morning, due to which the server of the App got down and people got worried about how to register to the Portal.
On the other hand, sources said that registration of Corona Relief Tiger Force on Citizens Portal will begin this evening and Prime Minister Imran Khan will initiate the program in a ceremony at the PM House today along with the presence of Usman Dar.
PM to form Corona Relief Tigers Force
Usman Dar said that the Tiger Force will operate at the time of a complete lockdown or curfew, these young people will carry out the task of supplying ration and food chains to homes during emergencies; young volunteers will also be able to identify the hoarders. The volunteers over the age of 18 will be able to join the Tiger Force.
Usman Dar also said that data sharing will be done with the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts. The young volunteers of the Tiger Force will also look after the people in quarantine. The workers from any political party can join the force.
The digital form of the Tiger Force is ready for registration and will be uploaded to the Citizen Portal on 31st March, the form will include name, address, age, mobile number, union council, and district details. The Corona Relief Tiger Force will be formed in every union council.
