Corona virus cases continue to rise in Pakistan

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Corona virus has started growing again in Pakistan. In 24 hours, 847 new cases of Corona have been reported, while 12 deaths have occurred.
According to the NCOC, the total number of corona patients in Pakistan has reached 327,063. Meanwhile, the total number of deaths from Corona has risen to 6,727.

According to the NCOC, the number of corona patients in Islamabad has risen to 18,764. 102,467 patients have been reported in Punjab, 143,222 in Sindh, 38,923 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,791 in Balochistan, 4,148 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 3,748 in Azad Kashmir.

The Corona virus has caused 2,334 deaths in Punjab, 2,594 in Sindh, 1,268 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 207 in Islamabad, 148 in Balochistan, 90 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 86 in Azad Kashmir.

According to the NCOC, 735 hospitals in Pakistan have facilities for corona patients and the number of ventilators for corona patients in hospitals is 1,920. In Pakistan, 10,235 corona patients are being treated in different hospitals and 310,101 have recovered.

As reported earlier by Baaghi TV, it was also stated in the recent NCOC meeting that the number of Corona victims and deaths is increasing across the country. All the Chief Secretaries have been directed to strictly implement the SOPs and it has been stated that strict action will be taken against the violators of the SOPs. Attention should be paid to high risk sectors like transport, markets, wedding halls, restaurants and public gatherings. The use of masks and social distance should be ensured. The administration should take immediate action on the violation of Corona SOPs.

It should be noted that the dangerous corona virus outbreak from China also spread in Pakistan. However, Pakistan gained some control in the first wave and all the departments were opened under proper implementation of SOPs. However, SOPs are constantly being ignored by the public due to which there is a risk of further spread of corona.

On the other hand, the political opposition are manipulating the situation for personal gains. No attention is being paid to COVID-19 SOPs in rallies and gatherings, there is a risk of corona spreading even from their public meetings.
The NCOC has stressed that parents and teachers pay special attention to the following issues when sending their children to school. Send children to school wearing masks, even if it’s a cloth mask. If the child has a cough or symptoms of the disease, do not send them to school at all, if the condition is worse, the child should be tested immediately. The school should be informed in case of positive.
