Coronavirus: 2,000 plus patients test positive in Turkey

Lahore (30th April, 2020): Number of casualties rises in Turkey as more than 2,000 patients test COVID-19 positive.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the Coronavirus identified as COVID-19, which spread from China, has wreaked havoc around the world. Simultaneously, the number of coronavirus patients is also increasing in Turkey, with 2,392 new cases being reported in Turkey in a day.
Turkey has suspended national and international air operations until May 28th due to the corona virus. Turkish Health Minister Farhatin Koka said 2,392 new cases of the coronavirus had been reported in 24 hours, while 92 patients had died in 24 hours.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Turkey has risen to 3,081. While the number of patients has reached close to one lakh fifteen thousand. A total of 948,115 people have been tested in Turkey so far. In Turkey, 38,809 patients have recovered, while the condition of 1,621 patients is reported as critical.
Turkey is facing an economic crisis as a result of the depreciation of the Turkish currency, while the COVID-19 has added to Turkey’s economic woes. Turkey which has a population of over 82 million, is unlike any other European country, as it has not completely locked down the country. As the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, attempts to save the economy, the Coronavirus epidemic is spreading rapidly.
TV channels have been dedicated to online teaching following the closure of schools in Turkey due to the coronavirus. Exercises are also being taught to keep students physically active. Turkish police deliver food and medical supplies to senior citizens’ homes. The Turkish government has banned senior citizens from leaving their homes to avoid the effects of the coronavirus. In this situation, their needs are being met at home through efforts of the Turkish government.
