Lahore, 6th May: The pandemic after emerging in Wuhan, China in Dec 2019 is still spreading rapidly across the world. In Pakistan, the number of infected patients is significantly on the rise, with an increase in the number of deaths too.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, the number of patients has reached 22,504 while the death toll has reached 526 in Pakistan.
In the last 24 hours, 40 deaths have been reported due to the coronavirus in Pakistan, while 1,049 new cases have been reported.

1,495 in Balochistan
386 in Gilgit-Baltistan

According to the National Command and Control Center, 232,582 people have been tested in Pakistan so far and 10,178 new tests have been done in the last 24 hours.
It is reported that 6,217 patients have recovered so far.

It should be noted that there is a lockdown in Pakistan due to the coronavirus. Yesterday, the federal cabinet agreed to relax the lockdown, but the final decision will be taken by the National Coordinating Committee, which is expected to meet today.
