Lahore: Coronavirus was confirmed in 105 passengers arriving in Pakistan from 3 different flights at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.

Pakistani nationals are being repatriated from all over the world and several citizens have arrived at Lahore Airport on three flights. However, a high number of those passengers have been diagnosed positive  with the deadly virus.

Mayo Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr Asad Aslam Khan said corona was confirmed among 35 passengers on the flight from Saudi Arabia, including 16 men and 19 women.

He further said that male patients from Saudi Arabia have been shifted to quarantine in Expo Center while women have been shifted to Mayo Hospital.

Moreover, he said that 70 passengers of two flights from Dubai were also diagnosed with the virus and were shifted to Expo Center.

It is believed that the coronavirus is spreading rapidly in Pakistan and so far 335 people have died while the number of infected patients has exceeded 15,000.
