China (11th Feb, 2020): Death toll for coronavirus crosses thousand in mainland China alone. 

According to the Telegraph reports, the death toll for people suffering from Coronavirus in mainland China has reportedly crossed thousand as fears grow regarding China’s struggle to control the dangerous outbreak.

563 dead, over 28,000 coronavirus cases diagnosed in China

As confirmed by sources, nearly 2,478 cases of coronavirus were identified in mainland China on Monday. The latest figures brought the total number of infected cases to an almost 42,638 with an almost 43,090 across the globe as of Tuesday, 11th February. As per reports of CNN, the number of deaths in China was 108 on Monday, bringing the total death toll to 1,016 according to the National Health Commission of China.

It has also been reported that two people have died in Hong Kong and the Philipines due to the deadly virus. Moreover, almost four thousand people have reportedly been cured in mainland China. As confirmed by officials, the cured individuals have been discharged after successful treatment.
