Lahore, 27th March: According to the experts, the outbreak of the deadly COVID-19 cannot be stopped, it is highly contagious and the virus germs last in the air for 8 hours. However, the health experts are advising to adopt a simple measure in order to slow the spread of the virus by social distancing. The transmission rate of the virus can be reduced by limiting human contact,  the sooner the social distancing measures are introduced, the slower infection rates will be. The major problem many countries are facing regarding the coronavirus is its exponential growth, SARS-CoV-2 is a new type of virus which has no herd immunity and everyone is a susceptible target to this infection. This is what we saw in China, and now in Italy, Spain, Europe, and the US, are witnessing the increase in the number of the coronavirus cases rapidly due to its exponential growth and if the growth rate multiplies like this then we will be seeing not hundreds but thousands of people being affected by the COVID-19 in many countries.
