Coronavirus: Package announced to overcome COVID-19
Lahore (4th Mar, 2020): Reportedly a package worth billions announced to overcome the Corona virus.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the World Health Organization (WHO) has announced a package worth almost 12 billion dollars to help in overcoming the novel Coronavirus, identified as COVID-19.
Coronavirus: Pakistan Stock Exchange hit hard
A spokesperson for WHO stated that the package will be used for people who cannot afford the treatment for Coronavirus on their own. It was further added, that WHO will use all possible options to prevent the outbreak to spread.
Moreover, the number of people infected with the Coronavirus has reportedly exceeded 90,000 while more than 3,000 people have already been killed by the deadly virus. In the last 24 hours, about 40 people have died from the virus outside of China, while 1,190 792 cases have been reported in China in the last 24 hours, while the number of cases outside China has grown to over 10,000, respectively.
WHO raises global virus risk to maximum level
The Federal Government has developed a strategy to deal with the Coronavirus, sending a list of 13,000 people from Iran to the provincial governments. The list also includes identification cards, contact numbers and other information, confirm sources.
Moreover, all educational institutions across Sindh are closed till March 13th in the wake of the COVID-19. Authorities are also in the process of opening schools, registration of several schools has also been suspended.
It is important to note that emergency measures are underway to prevent Coronavirus in Pakistan. Actions are underway across the country to control the Coronavirus.

Additionally, the airport(s) has decided to increase thermal scanners and guns at health counters. At the meeting of the Civil Aviation it was decided that fumigation would be done in the airport buildings on a daily basis. The presence of paramedical staff at the health counters will also be monitored, respectively.
Karachi’s Jinnah Terminal Airport also decided to have germs, lotions and masks et cetera, as per reports of Baaghi TV.
