Coronavirus: Parents stage protest for evacuation from China

Pakistan (18th Feb, 2020): Parents of students in mainland China, stage protests across Pakistan.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, parents of students stuck in China due to the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, since late last year, reportedly stage protests in Hyderabad for the safe evacuation of their children.

71% parents believe video games good for teens

Videos of the procession have surfaced which show parents and loved ones of the students demanding their safe return. Mr. Arshad Ali Abro of Hyderabad is heading the peaceful procession and speaking up for the rights of the students. Mr. Abro clearly states in the video that his son is a student of Ganju Medical University, apart from nearly 280 other students of Pakistani origin.

Petition filed against screening of ISPR’s ‘Ehd-e-Wafa’

He further states that there are almost one hundred doctors at a distance of approximately 200 kilometers from the affected city, Wuhan. According to reports of Baaghi TV, the purpose of the protest is the safe evacuation of the students from regions that are affected by the deadly virus.

The parents are reaching out to senior anchorperson and talk-show host, Mubasher Lucman, for help in the safe transfer and/or evacuation of the students.
