Coronavirus: Rise in the tally and 54 deaths in Pakistan
Lahore, 7th April: The coronavirus that originated from Wuhan, China is continuing to spread across the world with its deadly consequences. There is a continuous spike in the affected patients in Pakistan, the total number reaching up to 3,864 and the death count has risen to 54 so far. According to reports from the National Command and Operation Centre, updated Tuesday morning, the number of confirmed patients in the last 24 hours in Pakistan was 577, bringing the total tally to 3,864. The number of affectees has also risen in each province, the toll province wise is as follow: The Punjab Province is still under the clouds with the highest number of 1,918 confirmed patients. There are 932 confirmed cases in Sindh, 500 in KP, 211 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 202 in Balochistan, 83 cases in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), and 18 cases in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It has been reported by the health authorities that 59% of cases in the country are the people coming from other countries, however, 41% is the locally transmitted virus.
