Coronavirus: Schools in Sindh to remain closed
Karachi, 1st March: According to the reports of Baaghi TV, all the private and public schools in Sindh have been closed till the 13th of March.
Sindh Government has announced to close all the schools and has extended their holidays till the 13th of March 2020.

Sindh Senator, Saeed Ghani announced on his social media portal, Twitter, about the closure in all the educational institutions till the mid of March.
Earlier, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for Health, Dr. Zafar Mirza declared a case of coronavirus positive in Sindh, while the other has been reported in the federal capital.
Coronavirus: First case reported positive in Karachi
The first case of the deadly coronavirus in Pakistan, has been reported in Karachi’s private hospital, a spokesperson for the Sindh Health Department confirmed.
The 22-year-young male patient travelled to Iran where he acquired the virus.The second case was reported from Swat and was kept in isolation at the PIMS hospital in Islamabad.
Dr, Zafar Mirza announced that both the patients are in stable condition and that there was no need to panic.

However, it may be noted that the Sindh Government had closed down all the institutions in the province on the 27th and 28th of February, after breaking the news of the first person tested positive for the coronavirus.
Sindh Government has not given any further details of the closure, but people on social media are speculating the obvious reasons.
Coronavirus, which started in December 2019 from Wuhan, China, has now become a global concern, according to the World Health Organization. It has effected around 81,278 people, which are confirmed cases and more than 2,770 is the death rate, as per the latest reports. However, more than 30,000 people have recovered also.
