Coronavirus SOPs to be strictly followed during Ramadan

Lahore, 5th April: The government of Pakistan has devised standard operating procedures (SOP)s to be implemented during the month of Ramadan.

According to reports from Baaghi TV, the government has formulated the coronavirus-related SOPs to be implemented during Ramadan to control the spread of novel coronavirus.

President Dr Arif Alvi presided over a virtual meeting on Monday to stress the need to ensure the implementation of all SOPs in mosques and Imam Bargahs during the holy month of Ramadan.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health, Dr Faisal Sultan briefed the participants of the meeting including governors, federal minister for religious affairs and interfaith harmony and religious scholars to devise proper SOPs for congregational and Taraweeh prayers in the mosques.

It is to be noted that Pakistan is currently passing through the third wave of coronavirus, which according to health officials is more dangerous.
