Corrupt judges should be punished first: Veena Malik

Lahore, 19th June: The judicial system of Pakistan is always under scrutiny due to its lack of providing justice to the deserving and punish the corrupt.
According to a report by Baaghi TV, Pakistan’s leading actress Veena Malik has said that it is the duty of the Chief Justice to rid his institution of corruption. Corrupt judges should be punished first.
Tweeting on her Twitter handle, Veena Malik said that no country can develop with a double standard of justice.

Veena Malik further said that the present judicial system of Pakistan is full of such dishonest people who have robbed the country along with the corrupt politicians. The present Chief Justice has a duty to rid his institution of corruption. Corrupt judges should be punished first.
Commenting on Veena Malik’s tweet, a netizen said, “I am really sad with the double standard of the people when the whole army was responsible for the disrespect of the Colonel’s wife while the judge is not held responsible for the illicit wealth of his wife.”

Another user said that it is just a dream to go to court and see the reader asking for a bribe in front of the judge. People who have experienced a case will know.
