Supreme Court grants bail to a blackmailer

Islamabad, Oct14: Supreme Court granted bail to a suspect who was involved in blackmailing a woman.

Supreme Court ordered him to submit surety bonds worth Rs 5 lakh rupees.

A lawyer assist the court that the suspected person had called a woman to Dubai through his agents in Pakistan. The agents in Pakistan took Rs 4 lakh from the woman and promised to give her work and visa of UAE. The suspect then came to Pakistan and married the affected woman. The woman then filed for khula after a month of marriage, after that she registered a blackmailing case against the suspect.

An FIR has been registered in Peshawar against suspect. The KP police had arrested the agents and the suspect. The agents were freed on bail but the suspect was still in prison.

Investigation officer from KP police said, we are waiting for the forensic report of the suspect’s mobile phone.
