Courts Accepts Plea for Exhumation and Post-Mortem of Dr Maha

Karachi, September 11 (Online Int’l): The court has accepted the plea for exhumation of grave and post-mortem of Dr Maha.

The court has remarked in its written decision with reference to application for grave exhumation and post-mortem of Dr Maha that it has no objection over grave exhumation. Her grave exhumation and post-mortem will be conducted as per law. The experts are of the opinion that it can be said after seeing the medical reports that Dr Maha has been murdered and the crime scene was changed.

Dr  Maha died after receiving a bullet in her head. CT Scan of Dr Maha conducted in Jinnah Hospital  before her death has come to light. The doctor said that the bullet hit Dr Maha from the back side of the temple. As per the crime scene and initial report the bullet is stated to have hit from the side of straight hand. Dr Maha was right handed and she cannot have fired a bullet from the opposite side to the hand. Her friend Junaid had also expressed apprehension about her having been murdered.
