COVID-19 and the uncertainty surrounding Hajj

Lahore, 24th March: It has been reported by the sources that the Saudi Government has confirmed that this year the Hajj may get canceled due to the outbreak of the coronavirus around the world. According to the reports of Baaghi TV, this may be the first time in the history that the Muslim’s most important religious obligation that has started from the Prophet Ibrahim (AS), centuries back might be put to halt in the year 2020, due to a deadly disease that has affected the whole world. Muslims all around the world visit Makkah and Madinah, the Holy cities of Saudi Arab in order to perform Hajj every year, be they rich or poor, all of them bow down to Allah in front of Khana Kaaba during the month of Zil-Hajj and then celebrate Eid-ul-Azha.
