Wednesday, July 1st: According to a report by Baaghi TV, the death toll from coronavirus has risen to 101 after five more deaths in occupied Jammu and Kashmir on June 30, of which 12 are in Jammu and 89 in Kashmir.

In June, 73 people died from coronavirus, while the total number of people infected with the virus by 5,051 this month. The number of Coronavirus victims has risen to 7,497, including 1,611 from Jammu and 5,886 from Kashmir, after reports from 260 more people, including 2 soldiers, 11 police and 60 CRPF personnel, came positive on Wednesday.

According to South Asian Wire Special Statistics, from 260 victims, 46 are from Srinagar, 44 from Baramulla, 64 from Kulgam, 19 from Shopian, 17 from Anantnag, one from Kupwara, 14 from Pulwama, 19 from Budgam, three from Bandipora, one from Ganderbal, 12 from Jammu, seven from Adhampur, five from Ram Bin, five from Kathua, one from Samba and two from Rajouri.

The coronavirus deaths began in Jammu, where an 85-year-old woman from Basuhli died. Principal Government Medical College Jammu Dr. Naseeb Chand Dogra said the woman was suffering from respiratory problems and had been on oxygen since then. Dr Dogra said she was admitted to the hospital on June 25 but died at 7.30 am on Wednesday. The second death from coronavirus occurred at JVC Hospital in Srinagar and a 52-year-old resident of Diwan Bagh Baramulla died.

Dr. Shafadeva, a female medical superintendent, told South Asian Wire that the deceased was admitted to the hospital on June 27 due to pneumonia and water retention. He said that despite all the efforts of the doctors, unfortunately they could not save the patient. A 23-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman were also killed in a traffic accident at CD Hospital Dalgit. Medical Superintendent Dr. Muhammad Saleem Tak said that a 23-year-old youth of Shopian was injured in a traffic accident but after receiving a positive report, the youth was shifted to CD Hospital on the 29th where he died.

Dr. Saleem Tak said that a 65-year-old woman had also died who was previously infected with the virus. Dr. Saleem Tak said that the woman’s report was negative and now her second report is also negative.
