COVID-19; fifty-six deaths as new cases continue to rise across Pakistan

Latest figures released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC), during the last 24-hours, most deaths occurred in Sindh followed by Punjab.
Out of 56 deaths during the last 24 hours, 35 died on ventilators, 53 died in hospital and 3 died out of hospital on 2 Feb. Meanwhile, 1,384 people tested COVID-19 positive on 2 Feb.

Total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan reported to be 33,184 as of 3 Feb. While, 35,460 tests conducted on 2 Feb. Provincial statistics show:
- Sindh: 9,018
- Punjab: 13,047
- KP: 6,018
- ICT: 6,248
- Balochistan: 424
- GB: 324
- AJK: 381
It is to be noted that 504,046 people have recovered so far across Pakistan making it a significant count. There is no patient on vent in AJK,GB & Balochistan. Meanwhile, 289 vents occupied across Pakistan.
