COVID-19: Government reduces school fees to 20% in Punjab
Lahore, 10th April: Keeping in view the situation amid the novel coronavirus in the country, all the public and private schools had announced a closure for three months since early March.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, with the approval of Punjab Education Minister, the schools’ fees have been reduced by 20%.
Murad Raas, the Provincial Minister of Education Punjab, today held a meeting with representatives of private schools. The meeting approved a 20% reduction in the school fees proposed by Dr Murad Raas, the Minister of Private Schools.

Among the approved schools are Beacon House, Lacas, Lahore Grammar School, City School, American Lycetuff, The Learning Alliance, The Trust School, Brookfield School, Salamat Security School System, Rosen Islam, and many more.
Private school representatives said that at this time of trial, the schools are standing with the government of Punjab, on which Dr Murad Raas said that all private school owners have agreed to reduce school fees by 20% for two months.
In this hour of difficulty, the relief from schools regarding the decrease in fees will make it easier for parents to take off the burden.
