COVID-19: Health-workers test positive in Pakistan

Lahore (20th Mar, 2020): Pakistani doctors test positive for COVID-19 amid increase in number of reported cases across the country.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, doctors working at the Agha Khan Hospital have tested positive for the novel virus as approximately 245 new cases confirmed in Sindh put Karachi under lockdown.
Senior Executive Vice President of ARY News, Ammad Yousaf, claims that five doctors of the Agha Khan hospital have tested positive for COVID-19. According to Yousaf, they are gynecologists who were reportedly provided “proper gears” for protection yet they refused to “use them properly”.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, no official statement has been made by the hospital administration pertaining to the spread of COVID-19 in their doctors and other staff.
It is to be noted, that the death toll in Pakistan is growing with three confirmed deaths and total number of reported cases rising to approximately 458.
